Diners Club is a charge card, not credit card. This means that there are no established credit limits, nor annual percentage rates applied, as the balance must be paid in full each month.
How can I order foreign currency?
1. Pre-departure ordering with next day mail delivery
Foreign travel cash advances can be arranged prior to departure via Diners Club Customer Service on 0870 1900 011. The maximum amount is £ 650.- per week and will be booked directly to your Card. There is a 4% or £4 minimum charge (whichever is the greater amount).
For next day mail delivery is available Monday to Friday. All requests must be processed prior to 12 midday.
2. One hour Airport collection from a foreign exchange outlet such as Travelex or Thomas Cook. By pre-ordering your foreign currency the 1.5% exchange fee levied by the bureaux is waived.
Can I use my Card to get cash from an ATM?
PIN numbers, to withdraw cash from Automatic Teller Machines, will be provided automatically on application for the Card. If you have forgotten your number you can call 0870 1900 011. The Card is accepted at thousands of ATMs around the world.
Please note that all cash advances attract a fee of 4% or £4 whichever is greater. Funds drawn at overseas machines will be drawn in local currency and converted to Pounds Sterling at the Diners Club nominated daily rate.
When can I expect to receive my renewal card?
The month prior to expiry date. The card will automatically be sent to your preferred mailing address.
Do I have an established spending limit?
The Cards have no pre-set spending limit. Diners Club will monitor expenditure patterns so it is prudent to forewarn Diners Club of unusual expenditure on your Card.
What if I want the foreign currency to be delivered to an address that is not the same as my statement address?
You will be required to send a fax to Diners Club Customer Service confirming this request. Please note that cut off time for next mail delivery of your foreign currency is 12 midday.
