What is a PIN and what is it used for?
Your PIN (personal identification number) is needed to withdraw cash from automatic teller machines (ATM) under contract to Diners Club. You can obtain up to the equivalent of £600 a week in local currency from literally thousands of 24-hour cash machines located around the world.
In order to prevent fraud and theft, you should never disclose your PIN number or keep a record of it with your card.
Withdrawals can also be made from thousands of other locations including:
- more than 200 Diners Club offices and 600 participating Citibank branches worldwide
- more than 10,000 Western Union offices in the United States
- Travelex Bureau de Change branches in the UK
- selected international hotels including: Hilton International, Inter-Continental and Meridien.
If you don't already have a PIN for ATM access, simply call our Customer Service Centre and request one to be sent to you.

If I do not yet have a PIN, how can I request one?
Simply call the Customer Service on UK: 0870 1900 011, Ireland: 0818 300 026. Your PIN will be sent to the address on your statement.
What should I do if I forget or lose my PIN?
Simply call the Customer Service UK: 0870 1900 011, Ireland: 0818 300 026 to request a new one directly. The new PIN will be sent to the address on your statement. The old PIN will be disabled automatically.
What should I do if my card is lost or stolen?
In either case, notify Diners Club immediately on UK: 0870 1900 011, Ireland: 0818 300 026 which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your new card will be issued within 48 hours.
